June 16, 2025

NOTE THE DATE! We can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday, June 21st 10am to 2pm at Liberia House and Grounds at 8601 Portner Ave. for another amazing day of learning, fun, and community spirit! Please read the details of the event for our volunteers, vendors, food trucks, vendors, and parking:
EVENT DETAILS:
VOLUNTEERS:
Please meet at 4pm Friday at Liberia House. Look for the lavender t-shirts! Our Friends of the Manassas Bee Festival Board includes wellness expert (Rebecca), landscaper (Mark), beekeepers and gardeners (George, Jo and Theresa), creative artist (Laura), and committee liaison (Alice) and community leaders have been working for months to create a fun festival to bring awareness to save our pollinators and plant native!
Here are some important maps and signs:

VENDORS:
LOOK FOR THE WHITE FLAGS AS SPACE MARKERS. Non-Profits should locate on the side with the backyard stage and benches. SEE MAP:
Set-up options: first-come, first served
. Early Friday starting at 5pm optional set-up (only tents, tables, chairs display racks, that you must supply — recommend no merchandise or products set-up until Saturday) — SET-UP at your own risk.
. OR Set-up on Saturday (DAY OF EVENT JUNE 21) starting at 6am.
Food Trucks or Food Vendors: ASAP — Contact City of Manassas Fire Marshall if you have questions about permits and compliance. This is your responsibility:
FireMarshal@manassasva.gov or 703-257-8455
We will have volunteers available both days. No electric available. Bring your own generator, if needed. Public bathrooms and extra porta-potties are available.
PARKING:
Available on Mathis Ave., and in any lots that are available (neighbor businesses are closed and friendly), and at Public Works — dead end on Portner Ave.
If vendors are set up early on Saturday, we encourage them to get started! We expect early visitors, especially with the 2K Honey Hike from Historic Manassas at 9:15am!
Open rain or shine! We are expecting ice cream vendors, food, a lot of drinking options (from beer, mead, spirits, to cold drinks for all). There is a hose for farm animals and pets, and a misting tent for visitors located at our 200-year-old Liberia House — open for free self-guided tours.
Stop by our WELCOME tent with our banner attached, to check in if you perform or speak, or if you have questions or need a map. You might meet volunteer leaders Jaxon and Colby! Point of contact: Theresa Ellis Cell (571)247-6729!
Thank you to our top Sponsors, Supporters, Friends, Partners, and Volunteers and to the City of Manassas!
