Pollinator Week (June 18-25) at historic Liberia House! Manassas City, turns 150 this year and is a Bee City USA too!

. farm animals . drum circles . yoga on the lawn .  food trucks and yummy snacks . original art and handmade crafts . guided nature trail walks . live music . spelling bee . pollinator costume parade (wear one/make one) . live honey bee demonstrations . taste of local honey . mead garden and so much more! Thank the bees! 

Still accepting ideas, sponsors at many levels, vendors ($50), talent, volunteers and expert speakers!  Admission is free! Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome!


150th Birthday RECIPE CORNER:
Here is a honey treat found in the Junior Woman’s Club of Manassas 1991 “The Virginia Hostess” cookbook — “An entertaining guide featuring traditional and modern recipes.”  Lou Harris graced the cover with her beautiful watercolor.
